How the incentive fee is calculated

Like water or electricity, each user pays according to the quantity of waste they produce and present for collection. Residents are therefore encouraged to improve their sorting habits in order to limit the amount of household waste they produce.

Each user receives a bill directly for the waste service (individuals, businesses and public institutions), with the exception of users living in apartment buildings and attached to collective bins, for whom the bill is sent to the manager.

2 invoices are issued each year. They include :

• The subscription (fixed part): this covers the costs of building, operating and maintaining collection infrastructures such as sorting and household waste containers, waste collection centers, the collection and processing of recyclable waste and waste deposited at waste collection centers, and prevention initiatives.
• Your household waste production (variable portion): covers the cost of collecting and processing residual household waste (calculated on the basis of the number of times the bin is presented for collection, the number of times the local container is opened, or prepaid bags).
