A trip to the tip

Pays de Gex Agglo is responsible for four recycling centres (Péron, Saint-Genis-Pouilly, Ornex and Versonnex), one mobile recycling centre for Vallée de la Valserine residents (alternately in Mijoux and Lélex) and a garden waste facility (Divonne-les-Bains).

A FOB is required to visit the 4 recycling centres. Check you have yours or complete the online form HERE. You can also visit the Maison des Usagers Gessiens to request a fob. It’s free.

Chézery-Forens and Léaz residents can use the Terre Valserhône l’Interco network of recycling centres. Visitors require a card which you can request from the TVI household waste department: https://terrevalserhone.fr/decheteries/

Heatwave Plan: From June 1st to September 30th, the opening hours of the four waste collection centers and the green waste platform in Divonne are adjusted in the event of heatwave episodes of level 3 or higher, as declared by the Ain Prefecture and corresponding to an orange or red weather alert level.
